Redhawks Conclude Road Swing Tuesday at Lindenwood
Southeast Missouri Women's Basketball (6-13, 3-5 OVC) will conclude a three-game road stretch on Tuesday, Jan. 30, when they take on Lindenwood (4-14, 2-6 OVC) in St. Charles, Mo. Tip-off is slated for 5:00 p.m., CT. at Robert F. Hyland Arena.Â

Series History
The Redhawks and Lions will meet on Tuesday for the second time this season and the fifth time overall in the series between the two. Earlier this season, SEMO defeated Lindenwood 80-63 in Cape Girardeau (1/11) behind 16 points from
Jaliyah Green. The Redhawks maintain a 4-0 series advantage over the Lions.Â

Tuesday's contest marks game number 20 of the 2023-24 season. The Redhawks, currently on two-game losing skid, enter the contest with a 3-5 record in league play and are currently in eighth place. The Lions, 2-6 in OVC play, are tied for ninth place with Tennessee State.Â

The Redhawks are led by the backcourt duo of
Jaliyah Green and

Guard
Alecia Doyle finished with double-digit points to lead SEMO in scoring with 13, going 5-11 (45.5%) from the field and 3-6 from the stripe. The Sophomore hauled in nine total rebounds and two steals.
Freshman guards
Daejah Richmond and
Indiya Bowen also notched double digit figures scoring 11 and ten points. Bowen was active on defense, sending back two shots and stealing the rock three times.
SEMO brought in 40 total rebounds and recorded ten steals and five blocks, but only assisted on two baskets.
UA Little Rock was led by Sophomore forward Faith Lee. She notched 19 points and shot 7-15 (46.7%) from the field and 4-6 (66.7%) from the line while only playing 28 minutes. Both teams utilized their bench with 23 points coming from Little Rock's bench and 18 coming from SEMO's bench.
Scouting the Opponent
The Lions come into the game ranked 10th in the OVC but coming off a comeback win against UT Martin, 73-68. Lindenwood finished the game on an 11-0 run to upset the Skyhawks.Â

During the game Ellie Brueggemann posted a team high 24 points on 9-of-16 shooting and going 6-12 from behind the arc while dishing out four assists. The Freshman leads the team in scoring averaging 14.6 points ranking eighth in the conference.

Freshman Mya Skoff and Alyssa Nielsen also went into double figures with 11 points (4-5) and 16 points. Skoff leads the team in shooting with a clip of 47.9%.

As a team Lindenwood ranks fifth in the conference on offense (66.9 ppg) and tenth in the conference on defense giving up 74.1 points per game.
