Series History
Tennessee Tech leads the all-time series 32-17 over Southeast Missouri. TTU holds a slight 12-10 edge against the Redhawks at the Show Me Center. Under head coach Rekha Patterson, SEMO is 3-1 against TTU. The last meeting between the teams was January 25, 2018 in Cookeville, Tennessee. SEMO won that game by a score of 70-66. 

How We Got Here

The Redhawks are currently 10-11 and 5-5 in Ohio Valley Conference play this season. Southeast Missouri recently had a three-game winning streak come to an end with a 91-57 setback at Belmont. SEMO swept SIUE with a 65-62 win in Edwardsville (Jan. 3) and 63-58 victory in Cape Girardeau (Jan. 24). It was the fifth OVC sweep under head coach Rekha Patterson and first against SIUE since 2013-14. Tesia Thompson leads the team with 17.6 points and 7.3 rebounds per game. SEMO has forced 15-plus turnovers in 17 contests during the 2018-19 season, totaling 395 forced turnovers for the year. In OVC play, SEMO has forced 157 total turnovers as opponents are committing 15.7 per contest against the Redhawks.

Scouting the Golden Eagles

The Golden Eagles are 16-5 overall and 8-2 mark in Ohio Valley Conference play. The two conference loses came against Austin Peay (Jan. 31 | 65-72) and at Morehead State (Jan. 24 | 56-77). TTU enters the week ranked second in the OVC standings behind Belmont. As a team, the Eagles average 71.9 points, 14.1 assists, 38.4 rebounds and 7.3 three pointers a game. Junior Anacia Wilkinson is ranked seventh in program history as she has recorded 106 blocks in her career and 62 this season.
