Series History
Southeast Missouri leads its all-time series against SIUE, 21-19. The most recent matchup was last season when the Redhawks defeated the Cougars, 72-62, at the Show Me Center on Feb. 17, 2018. SEMO is 8-13 in Edwardsville with a four-game losing streak at the Valadabene Center.

How We Got Here
The Redhawks are currently 5-6 this season and have won five of eight games after starting the year at 0-3. The Redhawks lost at #6 Mississippi State (88-53, Nov. 6), Bradley (85-79, Nov. 10), Southern Illinois (60-40, Nov. 14), North Alabama (67-80, Nov. 24), Indiana State (51-62, Nov. 29) and Memphis (57-69, Dec. 17). SEMO's wins came against Western Illinois (81-71, Nov. 20), NJIT (68-58, Nov. 25), Illinois-Springfield (82-46, Dec. 4), Evansville (54-50, Dec. 8) and Harris-Stowe (80-65, Dec. 29). Most recently, the Redhawks defeated Harris-Stowe, 80-65, at the Show Me Center to wrap up 2018. Tesia Thompson leads the team with 16.7 points per game. Adrianna Murphy averages 4.2 assists and 3.4 steals per contest. SEMO has forced 15-plus turnovers in every contest during the 2018-19 season. 

Scouting the Cougars
The Cougars are also 5-6 this season and have a 2-0 record at the Vadalabene Center. Recently, SIUE hosted McKendree and won by a score of 64-63. The Cougars average 59.7 points, 38.9 rebounds and 12.5 assists per game. SIUE is also committing 14.1 turnovers per contest. Sophomore Allie Troeckler averages 9.7 points and 6.3 rebounds per game. The Bethalto, Illinois native has collected 20 assists and four blocks this season.
