Series History
Southeast Missouri trails its all-time series with Eastern Kentucky, 30-15. The most recent matchup was at McBrayer Arena when the Redhawks topped EKU, 66-52, on Feb. 22, 2018. SEMO is 6-16 all-time in Richmond, Kentucky with a 2-2 overall record under head coach Rekha Patterson.

How We Got Here
The Redhawks are currently 7-9 this season with a 2-3 record in Ohio Valley Conference play. Southeast Missouri finished the non-conference schedule with a 5-6 mark. The Redhawks opened OVC play with a 62-52 win at SIUE and a 80-73 loss against UT Martin. SEMO earned its first win in an OVC opener since 2015-16. Rekha Patterson secured a win at the Vadalabene Center for the first time as the Redhawks head coach. Tesia Thompson leads the team with 16.8 points per game. Adrianna Murphy averages 4.1 assists and 3.1 steals per contest. SEMO has forced 15-plus turnovers in 14 of 16 games this season.

Scouting the Colonels

The Colonels are 2-14 overall and 0-5 in Ohio Valley Conference play this season. Eastern Kentucky has a 2-3 record at home with wins over Kentucky Christian (Dec. 5, 90-35) and Brescia (Dec. 18, 70-41). EKU averages only 54.5 points per game with Abby Wright leading the way with 11.9 points per contest. Wright is also averaging five rebounds and has nine blocks this year.
