Southeast Missouri women's basketball (12-15, 7-8) battle the SIUE Cougars (15-11, 12-3) at 2 p.m. at the Show Me Center.

 
Scouting SIUE
The Cougars are 15-11 overall, but stand at 12-3 in OVC play, good for second place in the conference standings. They are coming off their first conference loss to a team other than Belmont, falling 72-64 on Thursday to UT Martin. SIUE is led on the season by Donshel Beck and Lauren White who average 14.1 and 14.0 points per game, respectively.

Last Meeting with SIUE
Southeast dropped the last meeting with SIUE, 65-57, back on January 17, 2018. The Redhawks last win against the Cougars came on Feb. 8th, 2017 in a 78-74 win. SEMO leads the all-time series 22-19.
 
 
Southeast Beats Eastern Illinois at the Buzzer
The Redhawks and Panthers battled all game, with EIU holding the small lead most of the time. Southeast tied it up in the fourth and the lead went back and forth the entire final period. While tied 48-48, Eastern Illinois missed a jumper, and Southeast grabbed the rebound with 0.6 seconds remaining and called timeout. Ashton Luttrull then hit a three-pointer at the buzzer, giving the Redhawks a 51-48 win. 
 

A Look at What's Ahead
The Redhawks have their final road game of the season on Thursday, traveling to Richmond, Ky. to battle the Eastern Kentucky Colonels.
