Southeast Missouri women's basketball (11-15, 6-8) will battle the Eastern Illinois Panthers (2-23, 1-13) at 6:30 p.m. at the Show Me Center.

 
Pink Up Game
Wednesday's game versus Eastern Illinois will be the annual Pink Up Game presented by Saint Francis Healthcare System. All cancer survivors will be admitted to the game free! The first 250 students to arrive will receive free pink t-shirts provided by Plato's Closet.

 
Scouting Eastern Illinois
The Panthers are 2-23 overall, 1-13 in conference. They have lost nine games in a row, the streak beginning before the first meeting between SEMO. The Panthers last win came back on January 11, in a 66-59 overtime victory over Tennessee State. Grace Lennox was the Panthers leading scorer on the season, however she suffered a season ending injury on Dec. 8th against Fort Wayne. She averaged 15.4 points per game before going down for the year.

Last Meeting with Eastern Illinois
The Redhawks beat Eastern Illinois 77-54 back on Jan. 20, marking their largest victory in OVC play this season. Deja Jones led the way with 14 points and 12 rebounds. Southeast has won two in a row over the Panthers and leads the all-time series 26-18.
 
 
Redhawks Lose to UT Martin, 72-65
Southeast showed some good spurts but struggled to find any sort of a rhythm from the start, with many players battling foul trouble and UT Martin showing an effective full court press early. The Redhawks turned it around in the fourth and even took the lead by one early in the fourth. Martin went on a big run right after SEMO took the lead and eventually won by seven.

 
A Look at What's Ahead
The Redhawks will battle the second place (in conference) SIUE Cougars this Saturday. Tip-off is at 2 p.m. at the Show Me Center.
