Southeast Missouri women's basketball (10-11, 5-4) battle the Jacksonville State Gamecocks (12-8, 6-3) at 4:30 p.m. at the Pete Mathews Coliseum in Jacksonville, Ala. on Saturday.
 
Scouting Jacksonville State 
The Gamecocks are 12-8 on the season, 6-3 in conference play. They have dropped the previous game against UT Martin 44-48 and lost the game before that to Eastern Kentucky 57-61. They are led on the season by Rayven Pearson who averages 9.1 points and 9.8 rebounds per game.

Last Meeting with Jacksonville State
The Redhawks defeated the Gamecocks 65-58 in their last meeting on Feb. 1, 2017. The Redhawks won the meeting before that 64-57 on Jan. 13, 2016. Southeast leads the all-time series 14-5.
 
Redhawks Win Thriller with Tennessee Tech
Southeast got off to the early lead and maintained it throughout the first three quarters. Tech went on a few runs and eventually cut the game to three points late in the fourth. The Redhawks were able to execute plays, and make free throws to keep the lead despite Tennessee Tech hitting several three's in the final minute. Southeast went on to win 70-66. Ashton Luttrull led the way with the 22 points, including six made three-pointers.
 
A Look at What's Ahead
The Redhawks will return to Cape Girardeau after four games on the road. They take on Murray State on Thursday and Austin Peay on Saturday.
