About Southeast Missouri: The Redhawks are 8-15 overall and 1-9 in Ohio Valley Conference play. On Thursday evening at Murray State, Southeast erased a 19-point deficit and took the lead mid-way through the second half but couldn't hold on in an 86-81 loss. Jasmine Robinson scored a Southeast career-high 24 points while Connor King set a career-best with 19 points, including 17 in the second half when she connected on her first six field goal attempts and eight of her first nine. Brianna Mitchell added 11 points and a career-high nine assists off the bench.
 
For the year, Southeast is shooting 37.2% from the field, 26.6% from 3-point range and 59.1% from the free throw line. Robinson leads offensively with 11.6 points per game Erin Bollmann averages 8.7 points and 7.6 rebounds per contest, including 10 double-digit scoring, eight double-digit rebounding performances and a team-best five double-doubles. She also leads the team with 44 steals. Olivia Hackmann averages 7.3 points and 3.9 rebounds per game and leads the team with 20 blocks. She tied a career-high with eight boards at Murray State on Thursday. Mitchell has a team-high 50 assists  to go along with an average of 6.0 points per game as a top reserve off the bench.
 
About Eastern Illinois: The Panthers are also 8-15 although they are 5-5 in OVC play. Sabina Oroszova leads offenisve by averaging a double-double with 15.1 points and a league-leading 10.0 rebounds per game. Arnisha Thomas averages 9.6 points and 3.7 rebounds per contest.
 
Stingy Defense: Southeast ranks third in the OVC in scoring defense, allowing just 65.0 points per game. The Redhawks are second in the league in 3-point field goal defense, yielding just 28.9% (98-of-339) of shots from beyond the arc.
 
King Owns the Glass: Junior forward Connor King leads the team in rebounds with 8.6 boards per game, which ranks fourth in the OVC. She also sits at third in the league with 3.1 offensive rebounds per contest. King has reached double-digits in boards on 11 occassions this season, including a string of five straight from Dec. 30 - Jan. 10. She set a career-high with 14 rebounds (eight offensive) in the conference opener at Belmont on Jan. 1, besting her previous high of 13 that was set in the previous game vs. William Woods on Dec. 30, when she also set a career-high with four blocked shots. She posted a double-double with a season-best 12 points and 12 boards vs. Morehead State on Jan. 8.
 
Bradshaw Climbing Triples Leaderboard: Senior guard Allyson Bradshaw ranks third in Southeast history with 154 made 3-pointers during her career. Julie Meier (1991-95) holds the record with 174 triples while Tarina Nixon (2005-09) ranks second with 169.
 
Scholar-Athletes: As a team, the Redhawks recorded a 3.3 cumulative grade point average during the 2014 fall semester.
 
Close Call at Ole Miss: The Redhawks dropped a heartbreaker by one point at Ole Miss on Nov. 25. After battling back from a 12-point deficit in the first half, Southeast took a 1-point lead with 1:11 remaining and held on to it before the Rebels inbounded the ball with 0.9 seconds left and scored on a layup at the final buzzer to win 58-57.
 
Looking Ahead: Southeast continues its 3-game home stand with a 6:30 p.m. CT Wednesday matchup with league-leading UT Martin. The Redhawks will welcome Murray State to the Show Me Center for a 3:30 p.m. CT tip-off next Saturday.
