CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – The Southeast Missouri women's basketball team hosts its annual Pink Up Night Saturday at the Show Me Center. The Redhawks play host to Jacksonville State with a 6:30 p.m. tip-off.

Fans are encouraged to wear pink to the game while paid admission to the contest helps benefit Saint Francis Medical Center's Dig for Life charity.

About Jacksonville State
Jacksonville State enters Saturday's contest 11-16 overall and 7-7 in the OVC, a much-improved season after last year's one-win season. The Gamecocks have won seven of their last 10 games.

Candace Morton paces a group of three Gamecocks in double-digit scoring with 17.0 points per game. Destany McLin and Miranda Cantrell score 13.8 and 10.4 points per game, respectively. Cantrell leads the squad with 7.4 rebounds per game.

JSU scores 64.4 points per game while shooting 39.2 percent from the field. JSU owns a +0.4 turnover margin, being forced into 14.2 turnovers per game.

After losing its first four conference games, Jacksonville State has reeled off an impressive 7-3 streak. However, the Gamecocks are entering Saturday's contest coming off a 45-43 loss to Morehead State.

Last Meeting
In the third tim final game a year ago, Jacksonville State claimed its first win of the year in a 60-57 win over the Redhawks. Allyson Bradshaw scored a game-high 15 points in the game.

Series History
The Redhawks own an 11-4 advantage over the Gamecocks. The Redhawks won nine-straight games from 2007-2010. JSU has won three of the last five meetings.

What a win will do
A victory snaps a two-game slide for the Redhawks, keeping them in striking distance of the OVC Tournament.

A win ties for the most wins (5) in OVC action in Ty Margenthaler's tenure and since most wins since winning 10 games in 2008-09.

Pushing for Two-Straight Top-10's
Patricia Mack grabbed 270 rebounds last season, which ranks as the seventh best rebounding season in school history. Current, Mack has 245 rebounds, putting on pace to get into the top-10 single-season record book again. The 10th-best season is current 246 rebounds.

Active OVC Leaders
Senior Patricia Mack is the active leader in the OVC with 810 career rebounds. She places ahead of Jessica Winfrey of Murray State who has corralled 777 rebounds.

Allyson Bradshaw is ranked seventh on the active 3-pointers made list in the OVC with 122. Heather Butler of UT Martin is ranked first with 356.

Chasing the Record Book
Junior Allyson Bradshaw is making her mark in the record books. The Cape Girardeau native has made 122 3-point field goals in her career, which ranks fourth all-time. At her current pace of making 1.4 3-point field goals per game, Bradshaw should threaten to be the most prolific long-range shooter in Southeast history, chasing a total of 174 set by Julie Meier from 1991-95.

Mack is climbing the record book at Southeast as well. As of Feb. 21, the senior ranks third in school history with 810 rebounds. Gray C Harris is next in line with 872 career rebounds from1992-96.

Pink Up Night
Southeast Missouri and Saint Francis Medical Center will host Pink Up Night on Feb. 22 to raise funds and awareness for the fight against breast cancer.
