Redhawks Spring Golf Tournament Tees Off Monday

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - Twenty-six teams participated in the 29th Annual Kohlfeld Companies Redhawks Spring Golf Tournament at the Cape Girardeau Country Club Monday.
Mark Alnutt, who will officially begin as Southeast's Director of Athletics May 21, was on hand to meet-and-greet participants. Alnutt spent the day hitting putts on the ninth-hole green. Other head coaches and athletics staff were also present to show their appreciation.
The yearly golf tournament, which is in honor of Booster Club co-founder Charlie Brune, is an 18-hole, four-person scramble. The day started with a luncheon, followed by a 12:30 p.m. tee time.
All proceeds went to support the Redhawks Athletics scholarship fundraising efforts.
