Southeast Athletes and Coaches Greet Blanchard Elementary Students

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - Several Southeast Missouri student-athletes and coaches gave Blanchard Elementary School students and staff a warm welcome at Lynwood Baptist Church Friday morning.
Members of Southeast's gymnastics, baseball, football, softball, women's tennis, volleyball and spirit programs joined Rowdy the Redhawk to help greet approximately 350 students and 40 staff members after a fire damaged Blanchard Elementary School earlier this week. Blanchard was closed Wednesday and Thursday before relocating its students and staff to Lynwood Baptist Church for classes over the next coming weeks.
Other members of the community, including firefighters and law enforcement personnel, also participated.
