Southeast Missouri (0-3) heads back to Paducah, Kentucky to face NAIA member Lindsey Wilson College during midweek action Tuesday. Start time is set for 1 p.m., CT at the Lone Oak Tennis Complex.

Fourth Match in the Bluegrass State
The Redhawks look to end a three-match losing streak when they play their fourth contest of the spring in Kentucky Tuesday. Southeast Missouri fell to Belmont, 5-2, on Jan. 26, Murray State, 7-0, on Jan. 27 and Western Kentucky, 5-2, on Feb. 2. The Redhawks played their first two matches of the season in Paducah before facing the Hilltoppers in Bowling Green last week.
About Lindsey Wilson College
Lindsey Wilson College starts its spring season against Southeast Missouri Tuesday. LWC ranked #14 in the NAIA during the fall. The Blue Raiders beat two ranked opponents in #21 Campbellsville and #10 University of the Cumberlands. LWC won each of those matches by 6-1 scores. In 2023, the Blue Raiders won the Mid-South Conference title and ended their season with a loss in the second round of the NAIA National Tournament.
Away for Awhile
The Redhawks first nine matches of the 2024 season will be played outside of Cape Girardeau. Southeast Missouri opened the year with a pair of matches in Paducah, Kentucky. After Tuesday's match against Lindsey Wilson College, SEMOÂ heads to Middle Tennessee (Feb. 9) and makes trips to Conway, Arkansas (Central Arkansas/North Texas, Feb. 17-18) and Springfield, Missouri (UL Monroe/Missouri State, Feb. 24-25). The Redhawks then host Bradley in their home-opener on Mar. 2.

Southeast Missouri dropped its third match of the spring at Conference USA member Western Kentucky on Feb. 2. Reigning Ohio Valley Conference Player of the year
Daniela Hlacikova picked up her first dual singles win of the season. Sophomore Trinity Calinescu also posted her first singles win in dual action. The Redhawks had to forfeit in No. 3 doubles and No. 6 singles due to injuries.
Redhawks Picked to Win OVC in 2024
The Redhawks are the Ohio Valley Conference preseason favorite entering the 2024 campaign. Southeast Missouri received 35 points and five first-place votes in the overall voting. SIU Edwardsville, Eastern Illinois, Tennessee State, first-year OVC member Western Illinois, Lindenwood and Southern Indiana completed the poll.
