1944-1949
Upton led the Southeast men's basketball team in scoring for three years. He was the school's career scoring leader at the time of his graduation. Upton was a hurdler on the track team, who later played Major League Baseball with the Saint Louis Browns (1950-51) and Washington Senators (1952).
