Megan McDonald won the Southeast Missouri softball program’s first Ohio Valley Conference Freshman of the Year award in 2005. She was a three-time First-Team All-OVC selection (2005, 2006, 2008) and earned Second-Team All-OVC accolades in 2007. An outstanding student, McDonald won the OVC Medal of Honor in 2006-07 and was a three-time OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll selection. To this day, she ranks among the school’s all-time career leaders in batting average, slugging percentage, on-base percentage, at-bats, runs, hits, doubles, home runs, RBI, total bases, walks, games played and games started.
