Johnson was the 2000 Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Year. A two-time First-Team All-OVC outfielder (1999, 2000) and OVC All-Tournament Team pick (1998, 2000), Johnson is currently Southeast's all-time career leader in hits (287), games played (216), runs scored (214) and total bases (521). He was named OVC Tournament MVP after leading Southeast to its first NCAA Regional appearance in 1998.
