Known as "Big Kiehne or Big Fritz" to distinguish himself from his teammate and brother Art Kiehne. Ed scored 48 percent of the team's points during the 1920-21 season. He was team captain and held the all-time single-season and career scoring records. Kiehne led his teams to a 78 percent win total in games he played.
